language routine which will allow you to exceed Basic's 15 open file limit
by as many as 255 files.
PBTools:Classic 1.32 [PBTCLASS] (Dave Navarro, reg. fee: $44) is a library
of PowerBASIC 3.x routines. It features windowing, menus, string handling,
and more.
Rosewood QuickBASIC Stuff 1.00 [ROSTUFF1] (Rosewood Software, ASP; reg.
fee: $0) contains routines for professional looking input routines and
windowing for QB.
Low Level Routines in MS BASIC 1.1 [S3BAS11] (George Spafford, reg. fee:
$10) is a tutorial for intermediate Basic programmers. Subjects include
peeks, pokes, interrupts, bit manipulating and more.
SerialIz 1.0 [SERIALIZ] (Nicolas Enterprises, reg. fee: $25-50) lets
programmers give registered users code to convert unregistered versions of
software registered status. It provides the tools to develop registration
numbers, input data from users, and attach registration information to the EXE.
WeekDay [WEEKDAY] (John De Palma, reg. fee: $0) is a QB routine which
returns the day of the week for any date from 1-1-1980 to 12-31-2099.

CRC utility routines 1.0 [CRCUTIL] (Gary P. Mussar, reg. fee: $0) is a
collection of C routines for performing CRC calculations one byte at a time
using a table lookup mechanism.
ED: C Source Code Editor 4.0 [ED_ER] (O.K. Software, reg. fee: $15) is a
source code editor. It features source-code coloring, search and replace,
cut and paste, ASCII table, a programmer's calculator, file navigation
commands, and more.
Command Line Hex Utility 1.0 [HEXUTIL] (Davin Weinzimmer, reg. fee: $0)
allows you to edit source code, convert numbers to ascii value and other
common code editing functions. C++ source code is included.
MakeDef 1.0 [MAKEDEF] (Etienne Rossignon, reg. fee: $0) assists programmers
in creating C++ DLLs under VC++.
MAP_S1 1.0 [MAP_S1] (Thomas H. Smith, reg. fee: $0) demonstrates mapping a
Netware drive and then changing the environment to make it a search drive.
This drive remains after program termination. Other environment variables

Put_Character 1.0 [PUTCHR] (reg. fee: $0) is a C routine which will output
any character to the screen without calling BIOS routines. It is handy for
those characters which have both a symbol and a control feature, such as
ASCII values 7 through 13.

C++ Quiz 1.1 [CPPQUIZ] (Millstream Software, reg. fee: $15) is a multiple
choice quiz which tests your knowledge of C++. It has four stages of
increasing difficulty. In each stage you are asked fifteen questions.
Answer questions right to win the bonus and get extra points. Requires VGA.

Dialog Design 4.1 [DIALOG41] (David Baldwin,, reg. fee: $30) assists
programmers in creating and editing dialog controls. Dialog boxes and text
can be edited, sized, and moved, etc. Once the design is satisfactory, it
will produce source code to be included in your program or a resource file
for use by your program. C and Pascal source code are included. Requires VGA.
Face_TV Library 1.3 [FACETV] (Chris Ahlstrom, reg. fee: $0) is a
user-interface library for Turbo Vision, written in C++. It provides
numeric and data fields built from lists of field types derived from
TInputLine.

source files and generates reports about possible problems. NEW: fixed a

(PG-4a) TVColr [TVCOLR] (Eric Woodruf, reg. fee: $0) allows you to extend
and modify colors for derived TV classes using one simple header file.

(PG-05) 4th_86 4.1 [4TH_86] (M.F.Buchan, reg. fee: $30) is a colorful
tutorial on Forth programming which uses scrolling text, examples of code,
and EGA graphic demonstrations.

AJC Printer Unit for Windows 1.0 [AJCPRT] (Andrew J. Cook, reg. fee: $0) is
Pascal code which makes it easier to position printed output on a page. It
also makes it easier to set text alignment.
Dialog Animator 1.0 [ANIDIAL] (Tim Schempp, reg. fee: $0) is Pascal code
which allows TurboVision programmers to put moving views within Dialog
Boxes. The animation can be toggled by pressing a hot key.
DateVal 1.0 [DATEVAL] (Verosys Technical Automation, reg. fee: $0) is a
validator object for use with TurboVision. It allows flexible entry of
dates in different formats.
KeyCtrl 1.0 [KEYCTRL] (Paul Backus, reg. fee: $0) is Pascal source code
which demonstrates how to jump between fields in TurboVision by using the
cursor keys, and how to control a pushbutton by modifying the state of the
radiobutton.
Lookup List Box Object Unit 1.0 [LOOKUP] (Timothy J. Wollin, reg. fee: $0)
is a ListBox that can search for a string and capture it via WM_Char for
the closest match. It can then move the caret to the closest match and
allow quick scanning of a listbox contents.
RamSwap 1.0 [RAMSWAP] (Anthony W. Henry, reg. fee: $0-20) allows a
programmer to write a large complex application under the DOS environment
and still have plenty of memory for child processes.
StaNdArd Printer-Pascal D2.1 [SNAPPD21] (Neptune Systems, ASP; reg. fee:
$27) adjusts margins and capitalization to give a standard look to your
source code. It makes imported code readable, and includes an optional
table lookup for control over the looks of names such as "cmCancel" and
"mfYesButton".

collection of TP7 routines. NEW: easy interfacing and customizing, custom

including many useful programming utilities: save screen, screen input,
encryption, DIR, print-screen, date routines, and more. NEW: packkey and

filer.

Protocol Engine [PROTENG] (Omen Computer Services, reg. fee: $20) is a set
of software routines for writing communication software. It has support for
Xmodem, Xmodem with 1k Blocks, Ymodem Batch, YmodemG Batch, Zmodem (both
Crc16 and Crc32), Sealink and Yapp (a packet radio protocol). It also has
built-in detection and support of multitaskers such as DesqView and OS/2.
Turbo Vision Cybertools 1.0 [TCYBER] (Steve Goldsmith, reg. fee: $28) is a
pair of tools for use with TurboVision. CyberFont provides fonts, graphics,
PCX images, sprites, bit map animation and DAC palettes. CyberBase for
Paradox Engine 3.0 includes a powerful generic browser window, and memo
